About the Artist
Cindy Lampley is an artist who lives and works in Atlanta, GA. Born in Nashville, TN, she got the best of both rural and city life. Inspired by the fairy tales and books she grew up reading, Cindy tries to add a bit of whimsy and magic in all of her illustrations through her choice in color, texture, and line work. She originally received a degree in costume design which inspires her whenever she creates characters from different worlds or time periods. Cindy has an M.F.A. in Illustration at Savannah College of Art and Design and currently works as a designer for a gift wrap and greeting card company.
When Cindy is not drawing you can find her day dreaming about the places she wants to travel to, baking all things sweet, or looking out for animals on her nature excursions. While most of her illustrations are done digitally, she also enjoys oil painting and playing around with sculpture.
